Editing the Configuration
STEPS SCREEN CAPTURE
Select version 6 — "V. 6". User’s Guide for Control Panel-01
Click Open XML to choose "configuration file". User’s Guide for Control Panel-02
Select "config" and click open which is located in "C:\Program Files\SMS Engine Enterprise Edition". User’s Guide for Control Panel-03
Click Read XML to read the content of  "config file". User’s Guide for Control Panel-04
Update text box (ID; PORT; ENABLED; MODE; TARGET_PREFIIX; RETRY SEND; QUEUE SIZE and ROUTING). In this case the text box ENABLED for Modem ID 1 is 'True' because the sim card is inserted into Modem ID 1. User’s Guide for Control Panel-05
Update Data Source. User’s Guide for Control Panel-06
Click Save to save the changes made. User’s Guide for Control Panel-07
Configuration is saved successfully. User’s Guide for Control Panel-08

 

Monitoring the Modems
STEPS SCREEN CAPTURE
Open phpMyAdmin. Click on database which inserted in Data source. View table modem_state. It will show the modem status column. (Hint: 1= Stop; 3= Fail; 5= Initialized; 0= Disable) User’s Guide for Control Panel-09
In Control Panel click "Start Monitor" to monitor the modem status. User’s Guide for Control Panel-10
Control Panel will read the modem status from phpMyAdmin and display it. (Hint: Stop=red; Fail=red; Initialized=Green; Disable=yellow) User’s Guide for Control Panel-11
Click "Stop Monitor" to stop monitoring. User’s Guide for Control Panel-12
The "Modem Status" textbox will restore its back color. User’s Guide for Control Panel-13

 

STARTING AND STOPPING THE ENGINE

Click "Start Engine" to start the service. User’s Guide for Control Panel-14
Open current date Log File which is located in "C:\Program Files\SMS Engine Enterprise Edition\log". User’s Guide for Control Panel-15
The log file will show the SMS Engine is started and Modem ID 1 is initialized. User’s Guide for Control Panel-16
In control panel the MODEM STATUS textbox will change according to the modem's current status. User’s Guide for Control Panel-17
In phpMyAdmin the modem status column will be updated according to the current modem status. User’s Guide for Control Panel-18
Click "Stop Engine" to stop the service. User’s Guide for Control Panel-19
The status of Modem ID 1 is now "Stop". User’s Guide for Control Panel-20
