- The software is to be used with MOBITEK SMS Engine — Enterprise Edition version 6 and 7
- Support is provided for customers whose warranty is still valid or customers have subscribed to annual support programme.

STARTING AND STOPPING THE ENGINE
|Click "Start Engine" to start the service.|
|Service started successfully.|
|To check whether the Modem are initialized or not >> Go to "Log" tab >> Click "Open Log" in control panel.|
|Open current date Log File which is located in "C:Program Files\SMS Engine Enterprise Edition\log".|
|The log file will show the SMS Engine is started and Modem ID 1 is initialized.|
|In control panel the MODEM STATUS textbox will change according to the modem's current status.|
|Click "Stop Engine" to stop the service.|
|Service stopped successfully.|
|The status of Modem ID 1 is now "Stop".|
MONITORING THE STATUS OF MODEMS
|Modem status is logged in "modem_state" table.
Note: 1= Stop; 3= Fail; 5= Initialized; 0= Disable; 1= Stop
|In Control Panel click "Start Monitoring" to monitor the modem status.
Note: monitoring cannot be started if either the MS SQL Server or MySQL service is not running.
|Control Panel will read the values from "modem_state" table and display it.
Note: Stop=red; Fail=red; Initialized=Green; Disable=yellow
|Click "Stop Monitor" to stop monitoring.
Note: monitoring will automatically stopped if connection to SQL server is disconnected.
|The "Modem Status" colour will be reverted.|
